Pupils should not bring mobile phones to school unless absolutely necessary.
mobile-phonesThose who bring mobile phones to school must keep them switched off at all times and stored in their schoolbags.
If engaged in an off-site activity such as a school tour, the phone must be switched off and out of sight at all times. A pupil may only handle a mobile phone during the school day with the prior approval of the class teacher or Principal.
Pupils who ignore this policy will be required to hand over their phone to a member of staff. In this case, the phone will be confiscated for a minimum of one week after which parents will be requested to collect it from the school office.
