We were very lucky this week to have been invited to attend a workshop in Swords Library to celebrate Engineers Week. We learned lots about the engineering world and more specifically what a being a bio-medical engineer involves.

We learned about the hand and it’s tendons and then applied this knowledge to create our own bionic hands using card, straws and string.
