SPRING DAY IS BACK!
Dear Parents & Guardians,
After Covid-19 forced us to cancel our planned March 2019 Spring Day the night before it was due to take place we are delighted to say SPRING DAY is back on Thursday 7th April, 9-2pm in the School Hall.
Spring Day is one of the most favourite days in the school calendar and our event includes a massive fundraising cake sale together with a Bumper Raffle with fantastic prizes, Easter gifts & treats, Name the Bear, Guess the Doll and guess how many sweets!
This is our first major event since the restrictions have been lifted and with the health & safety of everyone in mind, this year’s event will be open just to the pupils of the junior and senior schools. We look forward to welcoming back parents and the local community in 2023.
All proceeds raised will go to providing educational resources to the 1306 children attending both schools.
We would be grateful for your support in providing donations of cakes/cookies. Homemade cakes are always a treat but, if time is short, shop-bought ones won’t be turned away!!! These can be left at the double fire doors on the school on Wednesday 6th April between 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm and on Thursday morning 7th April from 8.30 am.
Children will be brought to the hall by their class teachers for the cake sale. Cakes/buns will be priced between 20c and €1. We will also have a limited selection of Easter themed handmade gifts and mugs.
Tickets for the BUMPER RAFFLEcost €2 each, or 3 for €5 and children can buy them from their class teacher from today up to Wednesday 6th April. Each child who purchases a ticket will receive a complimentary treat. A list of just some of our fantastic prizes so far is attached.
