On October 1st, RTÉ’s News2Day came to visit our school to celebrate the start of Dyslexia Awareness Week 2018 and to launch our brand new School Ambassadors for Dyslexia Programme! We had such a fantastic day and we even made the Six One news too!
There was incredible excitement all morning. The children represented their school in a fantastic and positive way. A special Well Done! to our Ambassadors and to Ms Hall’s 4th class for their excellent behaviour, listening, participation and allowing us to present to them. We are so proud of them all!
One of the primary aims of the Ambassador Programme is that we plan to visit every class in the whole school (all 29 of them!), to deliver our Let’s Talk About Dyslexia awareness programme. Watch this space as we will be coming to a class near you! We want YOU to see dyslexia differently!
