As part of their Localise Spirit of Service programme twenty four 6th class students are organising a food and gift appeal for families in need in the local area in connection with the St.Vincent DePaul Society.
This has been a hugely successful project undertaken by the students for the past three years. Each year has been better than the last and this year we would love it to be bigger than ever.
We will be collecting items from now until Friday 15th December and a presentation of the gifts to SVP will take place in school on Tuesday 19th December.
Items, such as non perishable foods, sweets, selection boxes, Christmas gifts,can be given to your son/daughter and left in their classroom in the designated collection area.
Every little helps and you can make a huge difference in someones life this Christmas.
