On Wednesday November 29th, some of our 6th class Localise volunteers were lucky enough to visit St.Pats/DCU to present their Localise Spirit of Service projects to the Vice President of DCU Daire Keogh. Also in attendance were two of our winning Dublin GAA team members Ciaran Kilkenny and Fiona Hudson. The students spoke with great clarity, confidence and pride about their upcoming projects and the guests were extremely impressed with their presentation.
There will be two projects this year. The first will be the Christmas food appeal, which will be presented to St. Vincent De Paul on December 19th and on the same day the students will be going Carol singing and giving Christmas cards to the residents of Anovacare nursing home in Cloghran.
Mr O Keeffe and Ms Curran also attended the event and were delighted and very proud to see Abigail, Caoimhe, Leon and Eoin represent the school so well. Well done.
