On 29th March 2019, the Parents Association hosted our annual Spring Day in the school hall. Weeks of preparation went into the event. There were hundreds of yummy cakes on sale, beautiful Mothers Day and Easter gifts, crafts and a monster raffle with amazing prizes. There were competitions: guess the number of sweets in the jar; name the teddy and name the doll. There was free tea and coffee from Insomnia for the Mums and Dads and the many grandparents who came to the Spring Day. During the day, the 729 pupils in our school all got a turn to go to the hall and do their shopping! There was a fantastic buzz at the event and the children enjoyed lots of lovely cakes and cookies.
The Spring Day raised a staggering €10,500 to be split between the two schools. The photos from Spring day can be also seen in this week’s Fingal Independent. A huge thank you to the members of the Parents Association for all their work in this brilliant fundraising event!
