There is a Lost & Found area at the school secretary’s office. You are welcome to come in to have a look!
School Uniform
All children are required to wear a full school uniform everyday. At Holy Family we have two types, a traditional uniform and a tracksuit for days of physical exercise. Although the tracksuit can often be seen as the preferred option the Principal asks for the traditional uniform to be worn at least once in a given week and ready for any time we have a special occasion in the school.
We are aware of the impact the cost school uniforms can have on a family so that is why we have made the positive step of making sure our traditional uniform is generic and cost effective. Jumpers, trousers, shirts etc. can be bought from Penneys, Dunnes or M&S for example, with an iron on school crest available within the school. Keep an ear out for any sales the Parents’ Association may have to avail of some uniform bargains!
Summer Uniform
Hopefully the weather will be nice and sunny! Some children may like to wear shorts as part of their uniform. This is permitted but under the following circumstances.
Shorts must be
- either plain navy, black or grey
- of normal length
- no ‘fashion’ shorts permitted. i.e. short shorts, denim shorts or shorts in a full pattern design
Cutting or ‘upcycling’ an old pair of school trousers or tracksuit bottoms to make shorts is also permitted.
